Africa's Intelligence.
Africa's Control.
Our mission
Inform decisions. Strengthen capabilities. Accelerate impact in Africa.
Design and deploy AI solutions adapted to African contexts, with meaningful control of data, infrastructure and use.
Discover our visionFive principles. A sovereign African vision.
Sovereignty
Control of our data, resources and direction.
Trust
Reliable, ethical and lasting solutions.
Impact
Concrete outcomes for stronger societies.
Innovation
Technology serving an Africa that innovates.
Africa
Our talents, our territories, our future.
An Africa in control
of its intelligence.
Sovereign intelligence serving African development. Choose your technologies. Keep control of your data. Build your own capabilities.
Build sovereigntyAI is moving forward. Who remains in control?
Every choice of model, provider or hosting environment commits your organisation. The real question: can you understand, govern and evolve the system you depend on?
Discover our approachFrom technological capability to the ability to decide.
We place control at the heart of architecture: useful services, explicit responsibilities and technical choices your teams can examine.
AI solutions adapted to African realities.
Offer architectures shaped around your use cases, constraints and teams.
More accessible public services.
Digital identity, digitisation and citizen journeys: connect trusted documentation with useful services.
AI you can govern.
Document retrieval, agents and orchestration, within an architecture whose choices and dependencies remain explicit.
Intelligence closer to people.
Voice and multilingual assistants, accessibility and guidance: design interactions around the people using them.
Sovereignty is built layer by layer.
Local hosting is an infrastructure choice. Control also requires governed access, understood dependencies and traceable decisions.
Data & jurisdiction
Where does data reside? Which rules apply, including to backups and subprocessors?
Access & accountability
Who can view, act or approve? Proportionate permissions and explicitly defined roles.
Models & dependencies
Which provider dependencies exist? Documented limits and substitution options.
Portability & evolution
How can you export data, change models and continue without unwanted dependency?
Audit & supervision
How can an answer or action be traced? Evaluate, record and enable human intervention.
Governance & transfer
Who makes decisions over time? Equipped teams, documentation and shared responsibilities.
Design principles. Guarantees will be established and verified for each architecture.

An African vision. Engineering foundations.
KEMITYA’s vision draws on expertise cultivated through STIPway. Software architecture, systems integration and applied AI inform this approach. KEMITYA retains its independent identity.
Explore our foundationsMake use cases tangible.
A simulated citizen journey explores digital identity and document assistance in Mauritania. This experimental prototype still requires an audit; it does not represent an approved government service.
Choose a need
Fictional person: Amina Example. Simulated need: prepare an identity document request.
No data entered or transmitted.
Choose a need
Scope. Build. Verify. Transfer.
A structured progression adapted to context. Commitments are defined with your teams; no deployment timeline is presumed.
Scope
Use cases, data, risks and acceptance criteria. Define what must remain under control.
Build
An explicit architecture and an initial scope your teams can evaluate.
Verify
Test relevance, access, limitations and operating conditions.
Transfer
Document, train and prepare for supervision and system evolution.
Clear answers. Precise commitments.
Does KEMITYA offer already deployed solutions?
The three domains are offer architectures. No client or government deployment is claimed here. Commitments are defined within a documented scope.
What does “sovereign” mean in this approach?
Sovereignty means the ability to control data, jurisdiction, access, dependencies, portability and governance. These principles only become guarantees once the chosen architecture has been verified.
What is the relationship with STIPway?
The founding brief describes expertise cultivated through STIPway. KEMITYA has an independent identity. The exact legal and commercial relationship remains subject to founder validation.
Is the Mauritania prototype an official service?
No. It is an experimental exploration requiring an audit, illustrated here by a local simulation using only fictional data. No contract or approval is claimed.
Your context. Our starting point.
Describe the use case, the constraints and the teams involved. A useful conversation begins with a clear scope.
